"A Vampyre's Kiss"
(submitted to Authonomy - FFF - October 7, 2011)
Come to me ... You can't resist any longer. I need you … your life … your blood.
Standing in front of the fireplace, staring into the flames, you wonder why you are here.
The room is dark; the fire illuminates the room strangely, there are shadows everywhere.
Cloaked in darkness, I watch you're every movement. Lying deep in the shadows is my world, lined in red velvet ... my tormented existence.
I have summoned you here. You are not like all the others. I need you … yes! I want you to share my tortured immortality. I have chosen you … and you have no choice.
Slowly I emerge from the murkiness and you glance up from your trance. My eyes glisten in the firelight. The golden pentacle hanging from my neck is enchanting.
You look like a lost child. Before this night is over, you will never be lost again.
Quickly, your expression changes, you see the burning passion that I have brought to you.
You raise your hands to embrace me, but I stop you. I am cold to touch, even though my heart is on fire. I touch your face gently with a kiss. You begin to tremble, not from fear, but excitement.
Moving my hands down your body, the longing in your eyes I have only seen once before … many lifetimes ago.
Our eyes never part; the sight of each other is tantalizing. Your heart is beats with the lifeblood I need. You turn your head away, knowing what I want.
I kiss your chest and slowly move toward your neck. It is warm, enticing … erotic, our passion building with every touch. My need is overwhelming … I need your blood. Stepping away, for the last time, I whisper, "Join me?"
Your urgent reply, “Forever.”
My fangs sink deep into your warm flesh. Draining the blood from you, I free myself and condemn you. You moan, not from pain, but with pleasure. I feel warm blood flowing through me, as your body grows cold. But I cannot take it all … I must stop!
You look at me and smile. With blood dripping from my face, I gently kiss you. Your body, drenched in blood and the fire, once only in my eyes, is now in yours.
Lost within ourselves we must become one … you must drink. My blood now flows for you. Inhuman blood surges in our veins and monstrous desire has overtaken us.
It is finished! With the rising sun, we must seek shelter. In our shadowy existence, we are lovers, condemned for eternity.
